Pakistan Super League (PSL) is a cricket tournament conducted by Pakistan Cricket Board every year since 9 September 2015. League comprised of 5 teams but now there are 6 teams after the joining of Multan Sultans. It's a t20 league consisting of 20 overs of white ball cricket. There are overseas players in every team which makes this league special. PSL is arranged usually in February and March. It's the most awaited event for Pakistani cricket fans. Players from every big international cricket team(except India) came to Pakistan every year to make the tournament impressive. First two editions of PSL were held in UAE later on when the conditions became suitable,the league was shifted wholly to Pakistan. Qaddafi stadium Lahore,and National stadium Karachi are the usual hosts of the event.

First edition of PSL(PSL1) was started in February 2016. Islamabad United won the tournament. Final was between Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators on 23 February 2016. Quetta Gladiators scored 174 runs with fall of 7 wickets in 20 overs. Islamabad United chased down the target in 18.4 overs. They were 175/4 with 8 balls left of the match. Islamabad United won by 6 wickets.
PSL 2 was contested in February 2017.PSL 2 was won by Peshawar Zalmi.
